About Me

Hi, I’m Devin. I care deeply about how relationships shape us—how they can both hurt and heal, and how insight and self-trust grow when we take time to slow down and notice what’s happening beneath the surface. My style is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education for over a decade, including time spent living and working abroad. These experiences, coupled with the impact of my own therapy journey, have shaped how I understand people, relationships, and the importance of having space to reflect, feel, and heal. This perspective fuels my deep respect for each client’s lived experience—and the many cultural, relational, and personal threads that shape it.

I work from a person-centered foundation and draw from attachment theory and psychodynamic therapy. That means I care about your present struggles—but I’m also curious about where they come from. Together, we might look at old relationship patterns, family roles, or self-protective strategies that once made sense but no longer serve you.

I specialize in working with people navigating relationship stress, trauma, people-pleasing, identity questions, and family dynamics. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and those who feel like they’re constantly taking care of others but unsure how to care for themselves.

Most of all, I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and supported—not just by your therapist, but by the process itself. If you’re looking for a place to reflect, shift patterns, and come home to yourself, I’d be honored to work with you.

I offer secure, virtual therapy sessions via HIPAA-compliant Google Meet, available in both English and Spanish.

Licensure Note: I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently awaiting licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington State. In accordance with state regulations, I practice under the supervision of an approved clinical supervisor—which means I meet regularly with a licensed clinical supervisor to consult on my work, support my growth as a clinician, and ensure high-quality care for my clients. While I may occasionally ask for your written permission to share a recording or case notes for supervision purposes, your sessions will never be observed or recorded without your consent. Confidentiality is protected by law, with the exception of specific legal limits (such as risk of harm to self or others, or court order).
